Preformed dead end for conductor

Preformed dead end for conductor is used for installing bare conductor or overhead insulated conductor in power transmission and distribution lines. They offer superior reliability and economy compared to bolt-type and hydraulic tension clamps widely used in current lines.

This clamp has a simple structure. After installation, the tubular structure formed by the pre-stranded wire legs naturally wraps around the conductor, generating extremely strong gripping force. Its novel structure and precise design ensure reliable performance. The clamps are typically made of materials such as aluminum-clad steel or galvanized steel wire.

1. High clamp strength and reliable gripping force. The clamp gripping force is not less than 95% CUTS (calculated breaking force of conductor).
2. The clamp distributes stress evenly on the conductor, does not damage the conductor, improves the conductor's vibration resistance, and greatly extends the conductor's service life.
3. Simple installation and easy construction. It significantly shortens construction time, requires no special tools, and can be operated by one person.
4. The installation quality of the clamps is easy to ensure; it can be inspected visually without special training.
5. Good corrosion resistance; the material is completely consistent with the conductor, ensuring the clamps have strong resistance to electrochemical corrosion.

1. Due to the special structure of the clamps, they can only be used once after being subjected to force and must not be reused.
2. The specifications and models of the conductors must be provided when selecting products or ordering.
3. Overlapping on the clamps is prohibited, but overlapping on the conductors before and after the clamps is allowed.
4. The coil direction of the clamps and conductors should be consistent. Standard clamps are right-handed; left-handed products must be declared.
